Occupational therapy is such a dynamic field where I get to combine creativity and practicality while helping others understand their bodies for functional use. Every body and everybody is different, creating opportunities to try new things with each patient and out-of-the box treatment approaches to personalize how their therapy goals are met. As a certified lymphedema therapist I am learning this more and more, gaining perspective on how to take advantage of life’s adventures and exposing myself to new experiences in hope to make myself a more dynamic therapist. I have an innate love for sunshine, sunsets, and beaches being a Cali girl, and am always looking for excuses to travel to new places and eat new foods.
